Welcome to the Nucleus blog

When we started our journey creating a design system, we gleaned insight from those who were already well into it and we tried to learn from the best out there. The likes of Carbon, Polaris, Hayley Hughes, and many other names helped us shape Nucleus and tackle challenges that we had never faced before.

We are now past the 3-year mark, and it's about time we shared our learnings!

Expect stories from all the disciplines we have in the team: product and UX design, creative and product engineering, QA testing, and design operations. We want to give you a glimpse into the inner workings of Nucleus – the Design System for Centrica.
